Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena-Irons have once again proven that there are no limits to their creative vision. Following the theatrical debut of their sinister dollhouse in the Spring/Summer 2025 Hellmann’s collection, the duo returned to London Fashion Week with “Cheerlore,” their Spring/Summer 2026 offering. The show opened with an unexpected welcome as guests were greeted by furry mascots handing out chips and guiding them to unconventional seating improvised office chairs, baseball gloves, and everyday objects transformed into temporary thrones. It was an immersive introduction into the Chopova Lowena universe, where punk energy merges with a performative, almost dance-like dynamism, setting the stage for unpredictable and audacious fashion statements. This season also sees a continuation of the collaboration with Chilly’s, featuring metal bottles, carabiners, and lunch containers adorned with seasonal motifs, seamlessly blending functionality with a playful, fashion-forward commentary.
The SS26 collection celebrates contrasts, textures, and experimental forms. Ruffled hoodies in a mix of fabrics were paired with studded skirts and matching handbags, creating eclectic ensembles that remain unmistakably Chopova Lowena. Tiny, micro-dresses were juxtaposed with oversized furs accented with snake-skin detailing, while bold prints and patterns collided across the runway in a vibrant visual symphony. Statement hoodies with cat ears, collegiate-style tops with rounded necklines, and a range of dramatic jackets completed the narrative, illustrating the brand’s signature rebellious yet refined aesthetic. Every silhouette and detail felt deliberate, forming a cohesive story that balances theatricality with wearable art.
The collection’s daring accents immediately captured attention. Cheerleader-printed tops, chain-detailed skirts, glittering bras, and chunky chain necklaces contributed to a narrative full of drama and personality. Chopova Lowena continues to operate on the edge of chaos and haute couture, creating looks that provoke, captivate, and linger in memory long after the show ends. “Cheerlore” is a manifesto of creativity, where every texture, print, and embellishment tells its own story while contributing to a world of contrasts, vibrancy, and unmistakable character a universe only Chopova Lowena can conjure.
